Don't need a reason to visit Chicago ... the blues, the food, China town, the ethnic neighborhoods.
Forget it Tenuki, I've decided to move in with Russian Soul instead of you. RS, make up the couch and let your husband know I'll be there tomorrow night. Well, I might be willing to work out joint custody between Chicago and Seattle.
ah thanks for the heads up maybe i'll try bothPentox wrote:For that price I would suggest trying out Nara Tsukigase from lupicia. About the same price, free shipping if you hit minimum order. Although it depends on how you like your sencha. I found the daily a bit more astringent than I would like.insanitylater wrote:actually now that i look at the price the o-cha daily sencha seems like it would be the best bet

Thanks! It was the first tea that wowed me when I got back into loose leaf recently. I have two different grades of first pick coming, and I'm looking to compare them to the 2007 "competition grade" I have on hand to see just how competition-worthy it actually is.tenuki wrote:I've recently acquired a taste for Bi Luo Chun, the fresh first pick stuff is just amazing. Good username!
I passed over a pink t-shirt at Banana last year, and oh how I regret it.

Edit: drinking Nara sencha from pentox...a 3 sencha day. Man...I am enjoying the teaday.
This is from Lupicia. They have crazy amounts of sencha...al lot like Ito-en. I am lost even looking at either site. But I would go to one of their stores and try some anyday. None around here though.

My marine only allows 9 days a month of sleep overs, so you can just do the weekends here and everything works.Salsero wrote:Chip wrote:My brother lives there...gives me more reason to visit!!!

Yes, but it's tricky. Did anyone say 'iced tea'?Victoria wrote: Am I going to be able to boil water?
