Yesterday, I felt no real effects of the caffeine, but today it hit me... massive headache, sore neck, grouchy, really tired and draggy, etc. One cup of tea, and I felt so much better. Hands and feet were still alittle tingly today, but better than before... and no worse yet since i drank the tea, so I am optimistic.
I've been reading up on aspartame, and I'm hoping we can blame it for this whole thing. That would be such an EASY thing for me to give up. I'd much rather not worry about giving up tea or having multiple sclerosis.
I am appreciating everyone's concern very much, by the way.

Oouf! That caffeine withdrawal is tough. You have my empathy. I'm really sensitive to a lot of things, but too much caffeine never gave me the symptoms you've described.
But artificial sweeteners - instant headache and tummy woes that made me stop before it worsened. Hoping that is what it is for you (and not tea). Just please be careful! Also, go easy on the tea! My grandfather always said, 'Everything in moderation.'

Now...is this actually tea? Heirloom TeaFlowers. It kinda defies classification. It is just the dried tea flowers of old tea trees. It is NOT floral...more of a sweet caramel. Vey unique and supposedly low caffiene. It holds up well as I have had these for a long time.
Added benefit of being FTC and organic.
Anyway...tastes good...and takes me into the night fairly often. One session left. I keep wondering why there is seemingly no interest in them.
Heirloom Tea Flowers
I am interested - and eagerly awaiting my promised sample!

You're just a big ole tease, aren't you? I'm gonna have to start stalking you on IM if my goodies don't show up. Ugh, stalking more?
J/k - take your time. If you want to wait longer, you can just keep dropping in tea samples and then mail it off in time for Christmas. It'll be like my own personal tea pass.

I already purchased the darn heirloom flowers and posted here to ask for advice on brewing, and no one responded. <pout>
I tried them once and thought it was nice enough, but I'd love to hear more feedback on how you guys brew yours.

Not sure about that status...but since it is very easy, I will try to help.
They are very forgiving and can be brewed casually. I usually use 1-2 TABLEspoons (very fluffy)per 6-8 ounces at 180* for 1-2 minutes...brew to taste. Can be rebrewed pretty many times, and I raise the temp, etc as I resteep.
I have never had a bad brew...

Thanks Chip and Victoria for the feedback... I think maybe I was too skimpy on the flowers and it made the brew a bit weak. I will try it again soon.
