Heirloom flowers for me as a last cup of the day.
Trouble sleeping already, guess my nerves are
a bit on edge from the day.

Also, I had them brew a cup of Organic Pu Ehr. Wow. The clerk let me smell the leaves first--like mushrooms, peatmoss, wet dirt. The taste I can't quite describe...earthy? Peaty? I added a small amount of sugar, which is probably a sin, but I like sugar in my tea.

My better half nearly spat it across the table, but oddly enough, I think it was ok. I didn't dislike it. Not sure I'll be buying any of it, though.

Is it my imagination, or does Pu Ehr have more caffeine than black teas?[/color]
Glad to hear your teaventure went well at TeaSmith! Hope you'll share a pic of your new Yixing! Pu Erh grows on you, especially if it didn't cause the initial reaction your spouse had. :) For me it seems to have less caffeine kick. A good one reminds me of a rainy walk in the woods. Mmmm!

Thats the most inviting description of the "pu ehr" puerrh ? teas I've read. Much less scary than some of the others.
