Geekgirl, you amaze me with your photography! Nice cup!

Unfortunately I do not have the type of oolong that was proposed. Instead I had a nice pot of kali cha oolong. Roasty toasty! :D

Me too. And the approach to life is pretty cool too!

Well, we are not getting many nominations here. I will venture some, though I haven't tried them: I found 2 at TeaHome, one roasted. Floating Leaves has two but both are way beyond our range. Shan Shui teas has 5, but they are all at least 30¢.

I think for our first choice we accidentally picked a pretty pricey tea. Now I can find lots of pu around 4¢ or 5¢, but the weight might include a few insect parts and what not.
Wow, on this "tea from taiwan" website, there are some tea pots of quite reasonable price :D Anyone has experience with their pots?

The second store looks really good. I get most of my tea from sellers in China. But I have been wanting to try out teahome's ebay store. I sometimes read their taiwan webpage and got very good information there. They seem nice and reliable.

Btw, your photo today looks absolutely delicious!! :D

I wished to have some ali shan oolong. But no time for oolong on Monday
Keemun red tea is my work day quick fix for tea :D

I had one of their pots but gave it away. When I got it, it was the only one they offered. At 175 ml it was a little big for my gongfu habit, but it was a good quality, thin-walled pot. Judging from the current pix, I would say they are well worth the price.

You're going to have to come up with a little more plausible alibi if you expect us to believe it!
How about something like: You fell off a ladder and now you can only pop in when a friend stops by to do your typing. Yeh, right!

LOL! oh man, Shelob, that's awful!

Seriously, all the coffee had my hands shaking like an old, old lady. Ha! Only one of my lenses has the fancy-pantz image stabilization on it, so I had a LOT of fuzzy shots. That'll teach me...

I considered having an oolong today, but that just didn't happen. I don't have any Ali Shan though I do have two or three Taiwanese oolongs in my collection. I haven't tried any Ali Shans either so I can't suggest any vendors that have tasty ones. I will definitely support Adagio's Ali Shan for our selection, especially with how awesome they are being for supporting the tasting venture. Hats off to them for wanting to just promote tea.

After staring at my tea drawer trying to figure out which tea that I wanted, sencha won.

Shelob: get well soon!

So I had some Ali Shan oolong...and I was sniffing the hot wet tea leaves to detect the aroma...only to actually breath some of the steaming hot leaf up my nose...
very unpleasant
but serves me right for literally sticking my nose into a gaiwan

Re-enactments are so exciting!
I'd have to agree that you exercised good judgment in removing it the first time.

Treazure you have my sympathy. Nothing better than tea to restore your health though. Hope you are feeling well soon.
