And too many cams in one window may introduce unacceptable latency issues, on top of it.tenuki wrote:It's not like more than 5 people at a time can hold a coherent conversation anyway.

So looks like Survey Says Yahoo is the choice tool to use.
The next question comes is do we want to schedule this for Saturdays? That way most people are free and they can come/go as they please over the time.

Yah if we grow, we can start segregating the light tea drinkers from the dark teasgo with yahoo, and just have a couple of 'virtual tables' that people can bounce between

Hey sorry about the late reply. I picked it up from padre and am hosting it every saturday now after I get home from work. That usually ends up starting around 7 or 8am Pacific time. It lasts to whenever and i leave chat up most the day even after I leave.geeber1 wrote:Is there a scheduled time for the Live Chats? I checked in last weekend for a little while, it was fun and I'd like to join in again.
Sadly it looks like Yahoo Live will stop on December 3rd. We might need to find a different place to hang out

Ok, so I haven't been on TeaChat in a while (sorry) so I'm not sure if you guys are still up for the TeaCam live tastings... or if you already found another way besides yahoo... or what... but I found this.
Yes, it is something you have to download and I'm not sure how fond you guys are of that idea... but, hey, at least when I found it, I thought of you!
I didn't really read the fine print yet, but the impression I got is that it can do video chat with up to 10 people for free (it also includes other features like 1 on 1 chat and public chat rooms). Click on the "Learn about PaltalkScene features" link under the blue "download for free" box on the left.
Someone else may have already discovered it and the idea of using that program may have already been tossed around. I don't know. Apologizes if I'm a little late on the band wagon... I've been neglecting TeaChat once again.
