CinnamonKitty,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your kitty. I am still mourning the death of our 2 dear cats, but it does get easier as time moves on. Honibelle died in my arms in March, but without pain. Healing takes time, the memories I have keep them always in my heart. Many hugs to you.

My day went to hell quickly yesterday so I didn't get a chance to check back in. Thus I am doing so now.

Cinnamon Kitty, I am SO sorry about your kitty. And when it is unexpected it is so much harder (at least for me). (((HUGS)))

I don't often use my scale. I think my being raised in a family who cooks with 'pinches' 'handfuls' and such has given me a good ability to eye the leaf. My problem comes for times - with so much going on in my life I can get a bit distracted and misguage the time :) Good luck in your tea journey!
Thanks! Ironically, I cook the same way. Recipes are just a guideline. But then it is based on taste whereas I can adjust the taste of tea while I'm making it so this method kind of works not so well. *shrugs* I'm just gonna count it as one of those things and try to always have my scale. :)

Hello! :D

Geek, glad Bubba made it back! Kitty escapees are not cool!

Most of them think that because the copiers and printers are located in our department that we are experts on them. What really fries me is when they jam up our copier, leave it jammed and use the copier in the other room.
Oooh, that makes me so mad! That happens here all the time. And it is like they time my arrival. About 2 hours after I get here (and would have time to deal with whatever they broke, they wander in to tell me what happened. Yeah, I figured it out with the flashing alarm thing. Thanks.

Thanks, everyone, for all the condolences. We shared many happy memories with my Cinnamon kitty. She was a fantastically lovable little girl who will be terribly missed. She was one of those cats that would make friends with everyone and loved to curl on an empty lap to be petted. Thankfully, her sister kitty, Pixie, is still healthy and happy.
