Ya Seeker, I could see some fine peaty whisky, like Laphroaig Quarter Cask matching up really well with that bowl. :D

Used some pretty stale matcha this morn. Still decent though!

You've got one silly! Doesn't mean you can't want another...

Yours is sweet, I almost snagged it off etsy, waited too long and you grabbed it. There was also one other of Rob's on etsy that I will never forgive myself for stalling on. Maybe the most amazing chawan I've ever seen. I had to wait a day for the funds to show up in my paypal associated acct. and poof, gone. I snagged the one in the photo on etsy. I'll post more photos on the show off thread soon.

How's this for a chawan? :D

I found it from the flea-market for 0.5€, but didn't realize to use it for matcha until the handle accidentally broke. Some old-schol wabi-sabi, eh?

I have no intentions on drinking matcha from my previous chawan anymore.

 A very good lesson for our newer peeps who feel they must have a "proper" chawan. Really any nice size/shape bowl will work nicely. :)

Thanks for the tip of the chawans!!! :D

We had a great ceremony. :D  (good, good love tears)

Great chawan Chip!

When I return from honeymooning I'll get back to sharing chawan!

I have one new wedding gift chawan to share, and my eye on a couple of others!

Cheers everyone!
