Aloha Guys,
This is my revue on this 08' Fengging "Feng Shan Yi Hao" raw pu-erh. Right off the bat the aroma from the beeng cha is really nice. It's like a prelude to what's to come. The compression on this Pu-erh is good, not too tight, just enough to be a good ager. It's been about a year now and it showing signs of good aging. I'm not so much into Chinese terms but this is my take on this Pu-erh. It has a nice clear yellow tea soup. A good aroma with some floral and a little woodiness. It seems to mellow out some. It has a little bitterness to it but not enough to offend and a good lingering mouthfeel. I'm on my 5th cup and is seems to hold up well. This is still a young Pu-erh and to me, it seems to be on par to where it needs to go to be a good ager. Only time and good storage will this Pu-erh become something wonderful.

Yeah, they do look like a good deal. I may have to try one next order. I really need to get some more of those Xiaguan 8603-9's. They are awesome! Maybe a tong is in order for my birthday. . . .
