Good day.

Thought I'd go for another shot of that last chawan.

Cheers.

Aaallllllrighty then,
family photos ay?
Here we go...
(I am totally intimidated by this in terms of how to get a shot that doesn't look just awful, I guess I want family shots to look good - to convey my love for these bowls, but I shall proceed anyway :) ).
I've decided to begin this in segments and work my way up to a complete family photo.
So I'll begin with the smaller nuclear families that make up the larger whole.
Today - Michael Coffee - aka, shyrabbit.
Here's the shyrabbit family - I love them...

May we all develop ourselves toward a personal wholeness that supports and strengthens the larger wholes of which we are a part -- our families, and our communities.
Cheers.

I would but I am in the middle of moving and half my family is already packed up!

But within a week I hope to have a picture of my 4 chawans together.

Finally got a shot of my SO #1 Pink Shino in action. This is my first chawan, and just my third cup of matcha! Matcha is Kiri no Mori from O-Cha.

Been struggling a bit my first couple of times, but this time I sifted the matcha first, and it made quite a bit of difference. I'll need to get a proper sifter for just Matcha I think. This is the first time I actually got some good foam, and it did not taste quite as raw as the first times.

Thanks to all of you for inspiring me to take the matcha plunge.

Wow Seeker! What a beautiful family. They have your eyes.

Very gorgeous! I'd take a photo of mine, but it'd be pretty small. I'm going to wait until my Shino SO arrives. Then I'll show off my family of 4 Chawan.

Have a great day all!

Nice family Seeker! I am having trouble getting them all in the picture too. I guess I wll do them in a series. Today is all the Hagi. Not quite sure if the Split Ice qualifies. It's a bit small, but I included it anyway. I have two and it is the bigger of the two.
