Chip wrote:Tead Off, yeah, 1 tablespoon per 16 ounces. Let me know if you need a more metric conversion. I put it in the vessel versus soaking. Logic tells me it would be better to allow the slurry to flow in the same direction of a leak in order to clog it up?

4-8 hours.

I do not rinse or anything, just pour off the slurry and allow to dry fully for a day +/- followed by hot water and rinsing repeatedly in order to remove the slurry residue.

You can test at this point and re treat if needed.
That is the amount that I used the first time. It still leaked so I doubled the CS to 2 Tablespoons and let it sit overnight. There is still some weeping. I didn't pour off and let the residue dry, though. This might be a key to the process. Will try again. Thanks.

Stunning Seeker. Is the Ao really as dark as it looks?

Ho y'all,
No, not quite as dark as it looks.
But it is dark.
I'll try to capture it more accurately in another photo,
not sure if my "skills" are up to the challenge tho.

Okay, here is my attempt at shots with better light.
Ao (a dark piece overall, but a better representation I think, and not as dark as it has appeared in previous shots):

Ice Split:

Sansai (2 sides, and LOVE that drip!!):

Cheers.

ps - the Sansai is about 4"W x 3.5H - chawan size!!
