The oil spot is very nice, but I just love your vibrant colors - that blue is amazing!! (also I don't know if I mentioned it before, but the red/pink you posted earlier is great too - and I'm not usually a fan of red/pink, blue's more my thing)

Maybe its just I know where you are from and have lived there..but your pieces many times take me back and remind me of Hawaii and the Big Island especially. Puts me back in the whole..wild volcanic beautiful pacific islands..did I just make any sense??

had tea out of a new bowl that was sitting here.
this particular piece was soda fired, upside down on shells.
the mikomi has shell marks.
complete with a nodate chasen.
