HAGI! :D

You are wild and crazy about your Hagi ... Hope to hear a report soon.

Thanks for sharing the Ice Split Photos, Seeker and Victoria.

Hoping to share Hagi photos, I am on a mission to get my vista pc to accept the photos in my pre vista hp camera. Spent much of the evening doing everything I could ... finally called hp tech support ... after sitting on hold listening to their steady stream of repeating/looping commercials for I am guessing 30 minutes ... a huuuman picked up and the battery on my phone decided to quit that exact instant, I heard one word from the guy. argh

hp pc (vista), hp camera (prevista), should not be this hard.

Damned planned obsolescence.

I put together a wonderful family shot... They look great together.

The funny thing is comming from Chinese Gongfu I thought the Super Ao's (SO #8) were big cups, now I have the back three which can hold a single kyusu's worth at a time each.

So the Family (so far):

Thanks for sharing your new Hagi, Adam and Victoria!

I will likely post this elsewhere, but I wanted to mention regarding the reruns of the "exclusive and unique" Special Offer custom creations that apparently impressed and inspired Deishi, Seigan and/or Mago to recreate them shortly after the SO.

All but SO #3 (Deishi Gyo set pieces which were made for us but were existing items) have been created for our SOs from the ground up with unique glaze, size, style, shape combinations.

When they started to show up soon after the SOs, I was a bit flattered and shocked at the same time. But it is a bit unfair for them to show up so soon after the SO if they were custom made for our SOs.

Therefore I negotiated a period between the SO's release and future releases of 3 months minimum for future offers. So, during this 3 month period, Mago will not sell "offspring" of our custom creations. However since he did go to the expense with some of the previous SOs already, I did not want to be unreasonable. Thus for instance, the Biwa, and Shiro are quite visible. Plus SO #5.

Thing is, I would think he is also shooting himself in the foot by offering something that was just offered anyway (and sold 20 of them), really has to affect the demand for more of them? Still, the SO #5 has been selling for 20 bucks over what we paid ... Biwa-s and Shiro-s have been selling for 50-80.

Anyway, I felt I needed to address this situation and pass the info on.

Thanks Chip for keeping us in the loop. Glad you reached an agreement, it didn't seem right seeing SO pieces for sale on ebay.

:D Technically they are not actual "SO" pieces. I like to think of them as "offspring" of our SOs, and they are a later run. We have the originals, and the actual SOs. :D

But the SOs certainly impressed people beyond our forum.

Yes of course, sorry, I should have worded it better. I realize they are the "offspring".

Thanks for sharing your new SO #9 Sansai and and SO #11 Ao Yunomi-s, Victoria!

I guess I should mention, SO #8 Super Oni Hagi is finally sold out.

But both the SO #9 Sansai Tebineri (pinch) and SO #11 Ao (Blue) Tebineri Yunomi are still available! And two of the Ao Tebineri Kyusu are still available.
