interesting & tasty okashi (japanese sweets)
its called 'seiko', not like the watch company. its made with renkon (lotus root flour) and 'wasanbon' like a brown sugar.
its translucent and has a silky, sweet, caramel-like flavor. delicious and balanced with matcha.

Nice find! I've never seen one of those in Japan. Looks like a good one.
I have bought great torches there... have two of their heads here in the USA sitting in my studio. But I unfortunately can't find propane cylinders that match the threading of the Japanese connections in the USA.
And the airlines would probably frown on propane cylinders stuffed into my luggage.

this one uses the same cans as the ones u can get for cooking !

ayumi was born on 25 june in shimbashi, tokyo !
here's wife and i basking moments after ayumi was born. she was 6.5 lbs and wonderfully healthy !
