Oh happy day! I received a new chawan today!!! Yippeeeeee!









This wonder-wan is H~U~U~UGE! Almost a full 6"(15.2c) across at its widest point! Woh. And 4"(10.2c) tall. I LOOOOOOVVVVE it! I am learning that I really like a large chawan. I very much appreciate smaller as well - but there's a special place in my heart for a larger chawan.

This gorgeousness was hewn by the Ronin Ceramurai (aka Robert Fornell).
This morning's matcha - Unmon-no-mukashi. Yummm.
