Shincha distractions!
But I have been admiring your matcha from afar, and your stunning Chawans!

Here's a shock, I got a new chawan!
The artist is Yuri, I got it at Teance (my favorite tea place!).
The matcha is Seiun from Ippodo (my favorite matcha source!).
Cheers!

Thank you iannon.
I'm sorry you don't have a fav tea spot to go and enjoy tea and the company of other tea-o-philes.
Thank goodness for online shops and TeaChat for guidance!

Cheers!

So awhile ago we were talking about showing off our Chawan Familys, well I finally gathered up my 4 after moving to show my family together.
And today I tried three Matcha's side by side just for comparisons sake.

The best, really depends on what you were going for, the Wakamatsu-no-mukashi is a perennial favorite and rather unbeatable at any time, but today I liked the bit of a bite the Tancho-no-mukashi provided, a bit more then the mellow easy going Wakamatsu.
The Domatcha actually smelled pretty good, but something was slightly off with the flavor that I'm just not sure about.
