Boy, those are really lovely. I bet they cost more than the $20 I just paid for my black one. I say buy the whole set of three!

They are in the 300$ range.

Actually following your wise advice would mean buy four chawans as the second is sold with its brother:

Much like the sutured pot seen at Mattcha and MarshalN's recent post, but I've never seen it done to a bowl. I like it, but I just bought a chawan.

I have 7 teapots for gyokuro. I might add one from hankook when the new harvest arrives but I don't think I will buy another one soon. Kuroraku chawan (and maybe one from Korea), cannisters and trays are on my list right now.

Better idea, he can give the extras to me. I figure that Hokujo shibodurishi doesn't work that well anyway.

In fact I exclusively use the little kyuusu for gyokuro and I sometimes use my houhins for sencha, especially the kyoyaki one (#4).
The last one with a screen is the teapot I take with me when traveling because it is less fragile than a gaiwan and because I can also brew other teas than gyokuro in it.

I doubt I need more gyokuro pots (perhaps the one from hankook). At least less than a kuroraku chawan, tea canisters and (I forgot to mention) yunomi.
