Same here, got dollars for robust pu!

Gotta be weighed against the Xi Shang Jia shu at Houde some, but I already got the palace pu that's almost as good.

Anyways, me want bulang, jingmai, things of that nature. Bitterness is not an issue--but no namby pamby florals, got it?

I have it set up like a Web Page.
Every time I buy tea on the web. I save that web page and link it to a thumb nail picture in my pu-erh web page.
This is missing your address, your schedule, and instructions for opening the PuSafe™. Please fix.

in a couple of weeks I hope. They're in the post at the moment. My wife came back yesterday with one of each cake in her luggage, so I hope to take some photos and write up some tasting notes soon.

We did make some of the Bulang again, from the same trees. Unfortunately the price of the maocha increased there quite a bit, so we didn't make a lot of it, but there should be a couple of cases of it on the way

how much of a price increase did you notice from last year to this year, and who has it affected more: large factory productions or smaller outfits? I ask because I've seen both super-cheap and super-expensive 2010 tea, so I'm not quite sure if the drought has affected prices that much.

it varied from place to place. For the old tree maocha it ranged from more than double in some places down to ~20% increase in others.

Very nice Nick. Perhaps it seems modest to you, but I think it is looks quite extensive. Just selective.

Ah, great pictures, I love this thread!

I recognize that "Yi Dian Hong" (the mini-tong of ripe pu). I just ordered some of that from YS. How'd you like it? Seemed decent, but also faded on me pretty fast. Although, I usually brew my shu on the long side... mmmmmm.

Scott sent one of these for free along with an order a while ago. I liked it a lot, especially the price, which is why I bought the tong.

It's thick & creamy like shu should be, nice leaves as well. You are right about it fading fast though, sometimes I only get 5 infusions out of it. However, if you keep the steep time very short in the beginning (<10sec) I find that it'll last a solid 8+ infusions and still taste just as good.

Congratulations Shogun, it looks like your collection reached the 5 year sustainability mark, as in you probably could use only those teas for the next 5 years!
