Wow Petr, you continue to really "push the envelope" with your innovation and art!
This last one really reminds me of a corky wood Japanese "vintage" tea canister I picked up a few years ago.

Today I took a look at the Darjeeling.cz (http://www.darjeeling.cz/en/accessories ... petr-novak) page to see if there were any new additions of yours or Andrzej's work. WOW! Humbly and honestly, I was stunned by the diversity and quality of your recent work represented on the website. The kyusu are all so beautiful and unique, as are the other pieces. The three different sets of kyusu each have their own beauty and artistic character/spirit. I sincerely respect this ongoing conversation you have between yourself and the raw earth/clay that finds expression in your hands. That your work also happens to serve the practice of tea, and finds its highest realization in the hands of your collectors as they deepen themselves through using your teaware in their own personal tea practice, is a wonderful gift.
Previously living in Taiwan, I have been exposed to many beautiful arts. While studying tea there each year I am given acquaintance with various ceramic masters through my teacher. Gratefully I get to see and pour some amazing pieces. However, I really find myself celebrating the unique fusion of Asian forms that both you and Andrzej are bringing into being. The forms have an Asian flavor/essence/utility, but also possess some essence more than merely "Asian,", this personal addition of your own European/Polish aesthetic and tea pursuit.
My wallet screamed "No!" but my heart suggested a "Yes!" and yet again I find myself purchasing your teaware. You make it so hard to resist.
Thank you for continuing to share these manifestations of your own personal artistic and tea pursuits!

wow, thanks for linking that, I spent the better part of a half hour looking at all the things. Really stunned by the teaboats, the magdas and the calligraphy one, everything is great but those really spoke to me

Time to time I refire pieces from woodkiln in elektric kiln...in case that I like the piece but there is some flaw, usually on-in glaze. Today we opened such kiln and yellow-gold tenmoku (in wood) showed its dark, almost purple face with picutre of deep univers inside. Real suprice!
