continuing to do clay body tests. found a wonderful black clay. wow. it rings like porcelain, i'll likely use a gosu or slip to 'protect' the white glazes during reduction.

hi all !

yesterday my wife came home w/ a gift. called 'omiyage' here in japan.

it was a cool book on my fav ceramics person named katoh tohkuro

whoa. i'll post some pics from it. it is a catalog from his last show that was traveling throughout japan. seems a retrospective of sorts.

as usual full of wonderful ceramics work.

will post soon.

hi all !

a quick couple photographs sharing our new joy in our lives. ayumi is our new daughter. she's amazing . more amazing when she rests. especially when i'm on duty caring for her.

she's about 2 months old now.

wow, time flies ! her skin is amazingly soft. sublime.
