Thanks, Victoria. I like blue white jingdezhen porcelain and I'm lucky that he kindly custom ordered it for me.Victoria wrote:Very nice Betta! Congrats! I hadn't seen that store before. He has some tempting items.
Your japanese teawares are gorgeous and tempted me so much that I am going to get some in the future as well

Brand new pot, its tiny at 60 ml, testing it out for what teas it should go with, so far its working great with Aged Wuyi.

Hi All,
I haven't chimed in here in a while...but as always I so appreciate you all sharing the pictures of your beautiful wares! I know it is a bit of a hassle to make the pics available for us to view!
Thank you!

cone 10 soda fired yuteki tenmoku matcha jawan
yuteki tenmoku is aka oil-spot tenmoku. fired in oxidation. at the end bubbles of iron migrate to the surface of the glaze. if u create a reduction atmosphere at the end, the iron oxide bubbles are flashed in the absence of oxygen and presence of carbon monoxide gases.
one of my personal new fired glaze experiments. fun! i'll be enjoying some matcha in this new chawan.
cheers ! thanks for looking !

interesting new piece i fired on shells. actually upside down with the shells in contact with the mikomi area of the chawan. slight salt content of the shells created a bit of flashing.
cheers !

A new tea caddy (Narukonuri lacquer on resin) arrived. It holds about 80-100gr.

And a basket I will use when traveling.
