I am always looking for good Tamaryokucha with low pesticides or even organic. So I found one in a shop that I do not know ( http://www.the-tea-crane.com/collection ... a-ryokucha ). The shop is called Tea Crane. Did anyone here every bought any tea i´from this shop?

No idea about that shop, never heard of them, but thes-du-japan normally has a couple of tamaryokus and I can very much vouch for them in general. I've had one from them before that I greatly enjoyed, I believe it was this one http://www.thes-du-japon.com/index.php? ... cts_id=300 . Had a lightly roasted aroma and a very deep aftertaste particularly in the back of my throat. It also claims to be grown pesticide free

I fully agree with you. Thés de Japon offers great tea and also has a wonderful service. It's my prefered place to buy sencha. But "The Tea Crane" also looks very promising - so I asked him to send me some samples. If I receive them, I'll write a review.

I found a new vendor www.wayoftea.com it sells tea for USA and Canada, they sell almost the full range of Marukyu Koyamaen teas, that is great news for matcha lovers.

I heared about Hojo, is his shop recommented? His site looks a bit odd, i also can't find any prices for his tea's.

Yuuki-cha has all organic/bio teas. Their prices are very good.
Hojo has excellent teas, but probably not bio in most cases. Their website is a nightmare and probably turns off more people than they are aware of. You have to request their pricelist from them. Their store is in Malaysia, but they ship from Japan. It's complicated.

I missed the pricelist downloadlink on HOJO site
Seems like he have way to many customers to justify his odd online shop

But i was looking for some tea without being fertilized.
Something like normal wild grown plants, i am not sure if could find something like that online.
Normal vegetable which grow slowly taste way better, so i am curios about getting some "slow grown" tea's.

Don't get me wrong i think organic&bio tea is a safe choice but when it comes to nutrional value and taste it's worse compared to some wild plants.

Somebody knows a Vendor wich sells greens from plantations who only pluck there tea only once a year?

I also found an excellent Japanese tea house in Penang, Malaysia-"Komicha". They serve family grown, organic Japanese teas which they only serve, don't sell.

One of the girls recommended these classic vendors:
1. Aiya America (from Aichi Mishio)
2. Ippodo-tea (Kyoto)
3.Marukyu Koyamaen (Kyoto)-already mentioned.
4. Nakamura Tokichi

Has anyone else ordered from Ocha & Co. (www.ochaandco.com)? I've tried a couple of their teas and they seemed quite nice. The selection is not very large, but nearly all of their teas are organic and the shipping is included for orders of $25 or more. I don't have a lot of experience purchasing direct from Japan so wanted some feedback. This vendor informed me that nearly all of their teas are from Shizuoka.

I have purchased a number of different teas from them. All have been good and never a problem with an order.

Will say that their packaging is a bit less sexy than some others, but value for money when it comes to the actual tea seems to be quite good.
