Another Southern girl guilty as charged! Before kids came along, what's now the playroom was the formal living room. Hubby deals in antiques so I had the room decorated w/Victorian sofa, etc including a silver tea set w/my cup & saucer collection displayed around the tea set. Unfortunately, I didn't drink tea then so I never got to use the tea set for the purpose intended.
If I were ever to get one again, I would use it & enjoy it.

It is an incense container (Kogo). I haven't much use for it, but it comes with the natsume and the chasen zutsu.

When is it a bowl and when is it a cup? I bought this as a cup, but it's a little on the large size.
