Q-xiang 2003 raw

All not nice to drink now. Have to keep. Felt dizzy after today's session. Mostly strong kick tea.
No leaves were found, cause these sticks used to be left over by-product. The leaves were used, and these were kept aside and processed for cheap consumption.TomVerlain wrote:That is some pretty interesting sticks .. I would still like to try it, but wouldn't mind trying the bit with the leaves either

Very nice tea but too costly for me.
My friend bought 800g (everything that is left). I bought the left overs 20g.
I came from a very humble background and that was the only tea my parents could afford and I drank it at home all the time when I grew up. I thought tea must be made out of stems or twigs but NOT leaves! I still remember the taste of this.TIM wrote:auhckw wrote:1920s Liu An Stick

Liu An stick is not really liu an... The older generations called it Poor man puerh stems. And how expensive could that be?
It said it made of leaves from Banzhang, Bulang and Nannuoauhckw wrote: ....
Lao Man E - Old Tree Ban Zhang 2008 raw - Super bitter in the first 4th brew. From 5th brew onwards, bitterness drops and give sweetness. This is mixed banzhang with 2 other mountaing (bulang and xxx - dont know how to read). Intending to buy this, maybe later.
