I wanted to post these improved photos of my sansai and also mention that mine is very oval shaped, I was hoping to capture that in the pics. I love it even more due to its unique shape. It is so comfortable to hold. This is the smaller size bowl, too small for matcha, unless transferred in.

Thanks for sharing your Sansai Tebineri with us. Have you used it yet? Seems this particular item changes with first use in a very variable manner.
There are still 4 of these Sansai Tebineri-s available through SO # 9.

Also SO #11, Ao (Seigan Blue) Tebineri Yunomi-s and Kyusu-s.

Can't say which I like more ... so get both.

Yes, I have been using it for the last couple of days with that in mind. That being the posts by Sarah and Andy. I did see some light crackling on the inside upon very close inspection this morning. I will check back in a week or so, I plan to use it every morning this week.
It is a gorgeous bowl, I can't imagine anyone not being thrilled to have it, or the blue. So anyone on the verge ... go for it!!

Vigorous and enthusiastic +1!
I LUVVVV both of mine. I got the bigger ones, and both are quite suitable for matcha

.
If you're on the verge - I recommend going for it.
Beautiful works of art these.

Do they have the force? And have the Ao gone to the dark side?
Thanks for the report, Victoria. Look forward to the updates.

Glad you got your #8s Victoria... I suspected they would be appreciated by you as you like that shape.
I think the #8s are lovely and unique, but I confess I sort of wish I hadn't bought them for myself. In truth, for me, they are alittle too small... but I tend to like larger vessels than many/most tea drinkers. I love love LOVE the sansai tebineri yunomi. I wish I'd gotten 2 of those and passed on the #8. That being said, if anyone missed out on the #8 SO... PM me. I would certainly consider selling my pair so I could buy myself a 2nd Sansai giant.

Need to get this thread active again.
First off the Special offer 11 piece.
And a teeny tiny guinomi.
