OK, hope this does not create some sensory overload going from no photos to one with a lot. Here is a partial fam foto.
IPT asked to see the display case, here is one. And muchos members asking for Hagi photos. The case was uber cheap and bought on clearance from Just Cabinets, liked it soooo much, got another. I use every wood box as you can see, this really creates the ability to get a lot of Hagi into smaller cabinets.
This display is all Ippaku (sp) Wan, small Chawan, Yunomi, and Guinomi. Hmmm, Geisha is supervising.
Sorry for the lack of photo quality, it is just a phone pic. Still have not been able to get photos from this older camera to this great vista computer ...
BTW, this is the TeaTable ...
And where's waldo, there is a glimpse of moar ...

The top of the cabinet is where I keep some smaller Teaware Artisan pieces close at hand.

All are around 4" diameter or less, some could be classified as small chawan (the lowest right vertical row of 3).AdamMY wrote:Chip I am seriously trying to get a size comparison... because some of those lower down pieces look HUGE!!!

Nice collection! Wish I had the room to display in that way and keep the boxes out. Very nice!

Re: The unofficial, official HAGI topic!
Thanks. The unit is not so big (27" W X 49" H) , and the boxes actually help to display more than would be possible otherwise through stacking. There are 2 other shelves that that are not visible, valuable expansion space.Victoria wrote:Nice collection! Wish I had the room to display in that way and keep the boxes out. Very nice!

Re: The unofficial, official HAGI topic!
How are you securing those two on the bottom that are tilted forward?
It looks like they might fall out and break if the shelves were bumped.
