Just noticed my 2004 - Xia Guan Golden Ribbon is Sept editions, and on the net I found May editions
I wonder is May and Sept from the same batch but different printing dates, or is totally different batch

Compared to last year 7452(901) I find this year 7452(001) has an edge in terms of pleasant earthiness, complexity and wholesomeness.
This year's is definitely well rounded!

YS order, just arrived today!
- 2010 Autumn "Imperial Pure Bud Bi Luo Chun" Yunnan Green Tea
2010 Autumn "Yong De Cha Hua" Camellia Sinensis Assamica Tea Flower
2009 Ma Hei Wild Arbor Raw Pu-erh Tea Stone-Pressed Cake
2010 Yunnan Sourcing "Ge Deng" Raw Pu-erh tea cake
2010 Yunnan Sourcing "Big Snow Mountain" Raw Pu-erh tea cake
2008 Wild Tree Raw Pu-erh tea brick of Dehong
2009 Yun Zhou "Lincang Mini Cake" Raw Pu-erh tea cake
2003 CNNP Classic 7581 Blended Ripe Pu-erh tea brick (sample)
2007 Hai Lang Hao Bu Lang Mountain Wild Arbor Pu-erh (sample)
This order was placed mainly because I'm in love with that Ma Hei Yiwu cake. Of course, some other stuff was thrown in; the 2 YS cakes & the Dehong brick. The Cha Hua & Bi Lo Chun were impulse buys. They looked interesting enough.

The Cha Hua is really fresh and quite good, not perfume-y like jasmine or anything. Careful tho, it'll put you to sleep!

That makes two of us!
Big Red Robe "Wuyi Rock Tea"
2010 Sun-Dried Buds "Wild Pu-erh tea varietal"
2008 Xiaguan FT "Happy Tuo" Raw
2005 Xiaguan Ancient Wild Tree Raw
2009 Xiaguan "FT 8603-9" Raw
2008 Mengku Mu Ye Chun "Old Tree Green Cake" Raw
2009 Ma Hei Wild Arbor Stone-Pressed Raw
Plus a heap of samples for me and my friends. I enjoyed immensely the Ma Hei cake and the Bing in a Box, and I couldn't help myself (Happy Halloween to me?). The rest caught my eye and fit the budget.
These are my first cakes, and I was so excited that I jury-rigged a pu cabinet the night I got them. It was a long journey, and I couldn't let the poor cakes stay in the vehicle that got them here, could I?

Cool, a tea that helps put me to sleep might be just the thing I'm looking for!

Nice, you made some good choices as well. Mengku Muyechun is reliably decent, though I've only tried the 2007 version, and the Xiaguan Happy tuo is also great for the price.

One of the older factory from early 1900's 鸿泰昌. See if this 2000 cake lives up to its reputation...

It is my first time trying 7262. I tried 2009 and 2010. Both doesn't seem far apart.
7262 is normal and somehow not delicious. Maybe is because this is young and some aging may help...

Yours looks like having some white frost? Wet storage?

Hi Chua,
Its a fast post as I saw you buying it few hours ago.Its a good buy if you like cooked tea.I forgot to mention to you about the 2005 100g xiaguan at JDX.Its the same type you bought but its a dark green box.Its in the dragon urn on the left when you go in.Try it,its soup is much darker than the yellow box you bought.I tried the gold ribbon after you left.It still taste young.I was surprised after 6 years it still taste like that.It still has many years to go.
