Wow. So much effort, for just one house, and then multiply by the thousands and thousands, and add the cars, helicopters, boats and barns....it brings home the scale of the problem left behind very clearly. The water didn't sweep all clean at all....it swept dirty.

past saturday evening, volunteering
i'll be posting 8 more chawan w/ 100% going to the mashiko potters fund from all sales. assisting potters' in the earthquake area near mashiko w/ rebuilding their badly damaged kilns etc.
