7262 (901) Ripe - 7+2

how was this years 7262?
Hi Chua,
Its a fast post as I saw you buying it few hours ago.Its a good buy if you like cooked tea.I forgot to mention to you about the 2005 100g xiaguan at JDX.Its the same type you bought but its a dark green box.Its in the dragon urn on the left when you go in.Try it,its soup is much darker than the yellow box you bought.I tried the gold ribbon after you left.It still taste young.I was surprised after 6 years it still taste like that.It still has many years to go.
Ok will try the xg 2005 dark green box that you mentioned. But I am looking forward to try out the few others that you have pointed out too
Ya, the golden ribbon 2004 seems younger, where the 2007 tea colour seems to be darker. Taste wise I prefer the 2004 over 2007. The mystery is that my 2004 is sept edition, and first edition should be may. I wonder is there big difference... I saw on Skip4tea they seem to have the may edition, will find 1 day to visit them and buy 1 to compare. Haven visit Skip4tea b4.

Yours looks like having some white frost? Wet storage?

Hi Auhckw. That's not white frost, just good old tea oil sheen. Stored in Yunnan and its a shu pu.

That is a really great tip! Most people in China who deal in tea are more than happy to give samples with their sales.

You have a good collection and most of all more place.Nice rack.I have the same but 3 times bigger and higher too.
You can stack up wards towards the ceiling but better to put a screw on the wall than tie the inside of the rack to the wall for stability.Tea is quite heavy.

1998 Xia Guan 250g Ripe Tuo - France Version (Export) x 6
Seller said this is from the 90s, but he wasn't sure which year exactly. Based on the info/serial on the pack, I found reference on the net that this maybe 1998 or 1996.
I drank this on 2 different occasion. And both times, gave me the very warm feeling... so decided to buy...
