Just so happens I got out the camera today.

Happy to see the rabbit's fur chawan is still faithfully serving you and your images of it are wonderful.
Thanks as well to you Cory for your compliments as well as your camera advice which I hope I'll be able to act on soon.
Best,

Re: Today's MatchaWan :D (new name, but tea's the same)
Now that I have matcha in the house again Kaoru Organic Matcha from O-cha, I decided its time to break out my favorite Chawan again!

Re: Today's MatchaWan :D (new name, but tea's the same)

My favorite matcha in my newly acquired Cory Lum
super premium uji matcha from hibikian
super smooth, creamy, frothy, fresh green matcha taste with a touch of uji bite on the end.

Re: Today's MatchaWan :D (new name, but tea's the same)
+1 - ditto to that!
What a beaut Ambrose!
(my apologies for my absence of late - kinesiologist has me off of tea for now, so it's a little hard to do if I'm here teasing myself; just had to peak tonight tho - glad I did to see a new chawan! Yay!
...and must admit I cheated today at my favorite local tea bar. Had a matcha, some mochi, some puerh - jumped off the 'wagon' with both feet at high speed. climbing back on immediately now tho.

Mostly steering clear of both green and black teas of late - taking a physiological break.
However, had a 'cheat' day today - went to my friendly neighborhood tea bar and had a matcha and a mochi.
The mochi was pear-puerh. And as always, puuuurrrrfect with matcha. Wow. Stunning.
What a nice cheat day.
Cheers.
Hopefully there'll be some Christmas chawan under the tree, and then I'll be forced to share.

It's rather small, but it was only $5 at a local shop, so I couldn't resist!
Works well for koicha, but too small for usucha.
