Holy farkin' shiat!

How are you planning on enjoying all that tea while it's still in its prime?

I drink about 20 to 30 grams of tea a day plus my girlfriend drinks tea, I also will be sharing some with friends. But yeah I definitely plan on drinking all that tea in it's prime, when it's shincha season IT'S ON LIKE DONKY KONG!!!

What is it about the Kinari that you like so much? And how would you describe the taste?
Best wishes,

Sorry I missed this earlier.
For me its just a really nice classic Uji Asa. Fresh, Bright, Nice balance on umami, Sweetness and astringency. being just a Shincha offering has its allure for me as well a bit. Of course thats the past harvests so who knows if it will be the same this year..but I will continue to get it until it dissapoints.

@ seeker, What are you going to try this year?
@Alex, Magokoro is a great tea did you have the sencha version of it? I didn't go with any for shincha season this year because I am not a huge fuka fan and I wanted to try some other fukas that I hadn't had before or in a long while.

I plan to be ordering from (selections TBD):
O-Cha
Maiko
Ippodo
Zencha
Den's
Hakioniwado
Rishi
Possibly ...
Ryi Mei
Hibiki-an
Sugimoto-usa
Greentea-Japan
Kaburagien
others TBD (and I am open to suggestions)
Some of these will be in the form of tastings (such as OTTI) ... a lot is still up in the air at the moment for me personally.
I typically shoot for 20 shincha, maybe I will surpass this this year. 2011 was a tough year, so a "new dawn for Japanese tea" is my theme for 2012!!!

chip I notice you list rishi as one of your choices, I have had some great tea(Jasmine Pearl, Silver Needle Premium, and a Hinshu Bai Hao that was amazing) from them and some others that were so-so (Wuyi Oolong), and some I really didn't like at all (Jade Cloud).
Have you had their shincha offering before?
