Thanks to everyone for the kind feedback.
Kyarazen, take your time to work out the custom request, no worries. Work is slowing down for the summer anyhow. The blue kyusu holds 140 ml. I am considering it for the competition and if not, then I am afraid it has already been reserved by another teachatter. I could try to reproduce it for you if it is not urgent.
I am holding back the best pieces from the last 3 firings until end of June, when I will be listing them on Etsy. Thanks for your interest.

Yes there are a couple of flat kyusus up. The pink is not the best among them, though
(it is selling as a second).
Some more pots from this load say hello...

I rather like the look of that "dirty" kyusu, did it already sell? going up later? Also what sort of filter do you do on your pots? I'm guessing direct holes but I don't think I've ever seen an interior shot.

That one is travelling to Taiwan...pizzapotamus wrote:I rather like the look of that "dirty" kyusu, did it already sell? going up later? Also what sort of filter do you do on your pots? I'm guessing direct holes but I don't think I've ever seen an interior shot.

It turned out nicely, lots of visual interest. It is thrown in dirty porcelain, a mix of Limoges (70%) and speckled stoneware, then double glazed. I had to pick a title for it, so now it answers to 秋老虎 (lit. "Autumn Tiger" = Indian Summer). Volume is 250ml.
Holes, yes - direct. Diameter of holes depends on the mood and practical issues like how large is the spout, will it be glazed inside...? Anywhere from 6-18 holes.

Thank You dear Inge for your help during my presentation/tasting in Brussels two weeks ago. It was pleasure to use your beautiful porcelane teapot for this improvised "Brussels chaxi" in old smithy at the disused tram depot.

It was my pleasure, Andrzej! I was deeply honoured. And also genuinely moved to see so much of your beautiful work in one setting. It left big impression on my mind. You have a large group of tea-thirsty fans here in Brussels. I hope you will come back soon!andrzej bero wrote:Thank You dear Inge for your help during my presentation/tasting in Brussels two weeks ago. I saw this post and was going to link an image of a very pretty glazed shiboridashi set, but it is gone from the Etsy listing already, between my daily Etsy check an hour or two ago, and now. Looks like the latest firing is going like hotcakes...

Hotcakes? Hardly...debunix wrote:I saw this post and was going to link an image of a very pretty glazed shiboridashi set, but it is gone from the Etsy listing already, between my daily Etsy check an hour or two ago, and now. Looks like the latest firing is going like hotcakes...

Did you mean this shibo set? There will be more coming in smaller sizes. This one was XL (230 ml). It's speckled stoneware, partly glazed.
