Yes good point, it will definitely be interesting to hear what everyone likes in them. Everyone that got one should report back to this thread with results when they get their pot.Puerlife wrote:I'm very happy that I was able to get two, a 65 and an 85ml. So many of us bought from the same batch that I'm sure it'll make for some interesting reporting on what kinds of tea we like in them. That it, assuming that the clay in all the pots is more or less identical.

Hey I have a very similar zini shuiping! Mine is the 85ml one, from factory 2 as well but the stamps on mine look more like the 85ml on chawangshop. I got the 85ml shuiping from EoT so it will be a nice companion to my other shuiping.theredbaron wrote:I am just having my first tea in the pot, i want to use it for Yancha. Works very nice. I use it to start it off with some cheaper mid range Yancha, very promising, lots of depth, but does not suppress anything.
It has the typical Factory 1 somewhat slightly rough finished look (which make those factory pots so charming, at least in my eyes), but at least in my pot the lid fit is very good (for such a factory 1 mass product), and does not drip when i close the lid hole while pouring.
I bought to pair it with this one http://www.chawangshop.com/index.php/te ... -65cc.html (mine, which i have been using for some time now has already developed a lovely deep shine), which i use for Pu Erh. I use them for a quick session, and when i go somewhere and don't want to risk taking my older pots around, but still want to have good enough but sturdy pots.
I tried the Factory 2 pot first with Yancha. It was quite OK, maybe muted the tea a tiny bit, but that may have just been because it was new. I had before only one pot dedicated to Pu Erh, so i use it now just for that.Frisbeehead wrote:

How is yancha in it? I actually have pretty much dedicated the zini shuiping I mentioned to yancha, but when my hongni gets here I'll be experimenting with them side by side. Either way I think I'll be using both pots for some sort of roasted oolongs, most likely yancha in one and hung shui in the other.
The one from Chawang you mean?bagua7 wrote:If anyone is interested in purchasing a 85mL shuiping I got from that vendor (aged zini) let me know. I am happy to get rid of it. Nothing wrong with the pot, it's the size. I no longer enjoy drinking tea from anything smaller than 120mL. The bigger, the better.
