I have one box that might be perfect but I have to empty packing peanuts out of it so I haven't done it yet.
Question for you: you said you had to send it UPS, right? Was it a size or weight issue that made you do that? Basically, should I even stop by the post office or go straight to a UPS center when it is my turn to mail it?

The *having* to send it UPS is because my hubby was mailing it and he *hates* our PO. He actually stood in line on then Monday he was going to mail it for 30 minutes only to be told that it would be $30 to ship it to you by priority mail. There was Priority tape on it from someone else so we would have had to remove it all to send it first class, and the box had developed another hole so I was told I had to rebox it anyway. So, the UPS was mostly his doing. Apparently you live in a Rural zip code so there was a surcharge for that, I don't know if UPS charges that the other way, though, meaning, I don't know if they would charge you more based on where you live. I don't think the PO would charge you that.

Yeah, I hate that rural surcharge thing. We aren't really that far out. And we are in a subdivision! If I'm gonna be charged a rural surcharge for my shipments, I want to live on a farm. Preferably with an alpaca.
Especially with my Adagio orders, I think I'm going to start having them sent to my work since there is no surcharge to send UPS to there... and our UPS man here is nice.

Have you ever seen the show on Discovery, I think, called Dirty Jobs? The host guy (don't know his name) went to an alpaca farm and tried to shave one of them. It was so fun - and the alpacas were so cute!Carnelian wrote:Ooh! I want alpaca too! I've seen bits of the show, not that one though. Here in Minnesota however, just north of where I live, are random alpaca and llama farms. They also make obligatory appearances to the state fair (no alpacas on sticks however). I can vouch for the fact that they are infinitely cuter in real life.auggy wrote:Have you ever seen the show on Discovery, I think, called Dirty Jobs? Life is like a cup of tea, savor it slowly or it will be gone too fast

There's soooo much in that box still... seems a shame to end the pass! (says the woman who wants to be added to the list)
Will there be a new list, or what will become of all that delightful tea when the pass concludes?
