OK, the one daily entry limit is hereby lifted for the final 30ish hours of the contest.

Each participant may post up to a grand total of 3 gaiwan.

Also, regarding number of photos per entry. I will be posting new topics with just the entries, 2 photos each, max. If there are more than 2 photos, I will pick 2 at my discretion. I would rather not do this. So, if you have mre than 2 photos for any entry, you can edit them out up to 11:59 PM EST Sunday 2/01/09. At that time, I will lock the topic and no more participant editing can take place.

Wyardley, those are wonderful gaiwans! The matching tray with # 2 is great. A cautionary note about the contest:

• 4. One entry per day per participant!!! One entry per post, please! Remember, no more than 3 gaiwan submissions per participant.

My impression is that you can enter more than 2 photos, but only one gaiwan per day and the rule does specify they should be in separate posts. I for one would like to see the one-per-day rule and the one-per-post rule both waived since a lot of people only have limited time to photograph and post their beauties. The real goal of this contest (I assume) is to get a lot of photos up so we can all oogle them. Both of those rules make it harder for people to get their pix up in public and by waiving the rules at this point, no one will be left out in the cold, but some people might be able to get in at the last minute.

Obviously, Herb_Master, you must have the Golden Herb Gaiwan since it is virtually your screen name! I really love your dark gaiwans. Where does the dark blue one come from? Is it still available somewhere? I apologize in advance if you have told us the source before and I just forgot.

I am not sure - I will scour my saved invoices - it may have been an Ebay Seller who no longer does Teaware - I will try and check

That puts me out of range for the contest, I reckon ... although quite honestly I entered this pic solely so's I could hang out with the cool kids
