Might be the holes, this one is 32
Wow, that is a lot of holes. I'm not sure any of my other houhins have that many. I'll definitely have to check it out!
Yeah its great. Although I rarely drink broken up Fuka these.
Definitely recommend Ken's hohins, they are wonderful little brewers!

Excited about my first kyusu pot. I got it today from Artistic Nippon. Their service was excellent.

Here is my new kyusu. Holds 110-115ml. Really nice array of colors which do not show clearly in the pics. Dark grey, green, rust and a coral color. Very happy with it. Adds some depth to my brews.

It is an unglazed Tokoname kyusu. Not sure about wood fired. It is a Gyokkou pot...if that tells you anything. I'm not very versed in Japanese pottery.

Unglazed yohen Gyokku, not woodfired. I purchased one a number of years ago, same "model."

It is a remarkable kyusu for 40 USD. The lid fit is perfect.
It is ... adorable.

Who is this. The swirls and clay resemble Yamada Sou (or possibly Fugetsu who studied at their kiln). But the houhin style resembles a Hojo offering

Its Wantanbe Tozo rough Nosaka. 200ml
Funny you should mention Yamada Sou as I bought it to settle my craving for his work.

I kind of figured, from Hojo? Ah, one of his new rough clay offerings. Forgot about them!
The clay and swirls really do resemble a Yamada Sou.
Very nice, nevertheless.

Yeah a Hojo. He rarely gets one's from Tozo without Namamigaki, I myself prefer the swirls and always find a little something is lost with the flattening of the pot surface. Of course this is just prefer.
