Well, got a new camera.
A Canon Powershot SX30 IS.
This morning is my first outing with it, so I'm still learning the camera - and there'll probably be quite a learning curve as I've got no photography schooling or training at all. :?
Here's the first matchawan shot with the new baby.

i made this a while ago and finally fired it. oxidation
partly, my fingers are heat sensitive, i wanted a chawan to keep the matcha hot and my fingers cool !
