I would say 90% satisfied. I have some really good stuff, but nothing that is
just that 100% ultimate. But I'm still searching. I have a bunch of new stuff coming from Camellia Sinensis and some Hou De yet to try as well as some unopened Floating Leaves Tea. Any of these may push the percentage. I hope so. Anyway.

As I write this I can hear the fireworks from Disneyland and coyotes calling and yipping in the breezeway. Only in CA.

What with sheng and shu puerh, semi-abandoned Indian, Taiwanese and Chinese teas, a bunch of variations on bancha and hojicha, and quite a few samples generous people have sent me all sitting around it could be a lot of tea ... maybe 200 or more. So it's kind of hard to generalize. Some things have not been touched for a long while because they weren't that inspiring to begin with. Some were fabulous a year of two ago, but got moved to the back of the drawer, box, or shelf and forgotten. Some are sheng puerh that I am hoping will be better or even better in a few years ... It just goes on and on. In my own defense I will say that I am quite good about not getting too many greens open all at once ... currently only 3 sencha offerings are open and 2 of those have only one or two sessions remaining and I think the same for Chinese greens. On the other extreme, puerh samples, cakes, bricks, tuos, and mushrooms ... well, probably at least 100 of those

Photo is of one of the open sencha offerings. For this sample, much thanks to Chip and Pentox.

Not too shabby - 85%

Of the teas recently ordered online or purchased in store, I've been reasonably satisfied of late. A few samples were poorer quality than expected, but nearly all of the Indian and Chinese blacks, oolongs and Chinese and Japanese greens have been good as good or better than expected. Very, very much enjoying exploring new teas.

Mint tea before bed.

95% I decided some time ago that there's no reason to hang on to tea that I don't really like.
Lately I've grown quite fond of teasource's Magnolia Oolong, as well as adagio's Ali Shan.
Refrigerating a last steep of Sunday's Darjeeling leaves and now off to sleep.

100% satisfied.

There is always a better tea somewhere but I am not constantly at the never ending search of the absolute best tea anymore. I have very good teas (if not excellent ones) and always looking for a better one would bring me some kind of non satisfaction and spoil my pleasure.

Kirameki shincha this morning.

The wonderful folks here guided me quite early to good vendors of tea, so I'm satisfied with most of my tea. It also helps that I don't often dislike a tea.

I'm trying out yet another oolong this morning. Probably will be doing so for the next week :D

Salsero: What is 88 nights sincha?

I am very dissatisfied with my current selection of tea, all opened. Lately, when I make tea at work it is very un-eventful and I don't know why. I have even brought in my own spring water. I was attempting to "scale down" because when I get too much, some goes forgotten in the cupboard and gets stale. I am going to order when I get back from vacation. Think I just need some fresh tea.

Good luck on that Calculus test, Ebtoulson!

When I do it properly (meaning I don't get distracted and totally oversteep my black teas to the point Darth Vadar would find them too evil to drink), I am 100% satisfied.

Now, what to have this morning...

Oh yeah, gotta feed the cat first. He is telling me how Totally Abused, Neglected, Starving, and Pathetic he is.

I'm satisfied with most of me tea collection. Naturally, I have some "go to" teas and some I don't drink very often.

I need to restock my black teas like Margaret's Hope and Assam. I'm woking, today, on some Oolong.

It is a Sencha that is harvested 88 days after the beginning of spring ... supposedly an auspicious date.

I am very satisfied, likely 95% and just am not saying 100% because there is always room for improvement.

Began this TD with Gyokuro Suimei from Den's. SweeTea wanted some while Koi, Wulong, and Pyrit were just impressed with the Hagi gyokuro set.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
