OCha's Daily Sencha

by Sam. » Jul 9th, '09, 20:21

I'm looking at purchasing some daily sencha with my coming o-cha purchase. It says that this tea is harvested in June and right now the tea for sale is still from 2008. I was wondering if anyone knows when this year's June harvest will be up for sale rather than the 12 month old tea?

I have only had it once, not sure when they update it.

It is 2nd flush sencha, and I hear it is popular with their Asian customers.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Sam., it's probably best to ask the vendors when their June harvest would be available for shipment.
Or, you can specifically request them to pull their new batch for you when you make the order.

Just an update. I checked O-cha again and they now list 2009 as the "Year Harvested." Looks like the new batch is up for anyone interested.
