PersonaliTEA - dimensions???
I'm wondering if a tea cozy with an 8.5" W & 7" H (this one) will fit the personaliTEA pot nicely... as the dimensions are not listed on the site??? Thanks

Whenever I hear the words tea cozy, I can't help but to think about this guy:

Re: PersonaliTEA - dimensions???
I just ordered my first PersonaliTea pots... 3 of them, to most likely replace my IngenuiTea units at home, work, and my mom's. I am extremely pleased so far... it holds heat well, is the perfect size for my purposes, and has a pleasing appearance.
The box was labeled SimpliciTea rather than PersonaliTea... wondering if a name change is in the works? I think it would be fitting... simple and elegant, easy to use, and a great economical pot for basic brewing.

If only it had a screen at the base of the spout.
Why the switch from ingenuiTea?

Re: PersonaliTEA - dimensions???
I have an ongoing battle of wills with a few peeps at work who refuse to NOT brew mint and jasmine in the IngenuiTea... I am taking the 2 from work home, to try to remove the flavor/scent from the filter. I have good luck with baking soda, but its just a hassle.
In addition, the IngenuiTea stays perpetually stained on the interior, and people who don't drink tea seem to be put off by its appearance, always thinking it is "dirty". Maybe the pretty white pot will look nicer on the countertop and the porcelain will resist staining.
As for the filter... wish there was a finer mesh filter or something. This pot does have largish filter holes built into the pot itself, but they are too large for smaller leaf. I tend to just decant through the infuser basket to catch whatever the larger filter holes let pass through.

Oh, I thought it may have been the materials, ceramic versus plastics.

As for using a cozy with the PersonaliTea...I usually use mine to make blacks and as such it is completely full of just-boiled water (I have never pre-heated it). It stays tongue-burning hot till the tea is brewed. I had taken to just draping a small kitchen towel over the pot that I decant into just to keep it warm until everybody has poured their cups. Recently, I have been putting the towel over the PersonaliTea while it is steeping, just thinking I'd keep it even hotter.

I love my PersonaliTEA and use it at home every day.
I like Sarah's idea of having one at work to replace my IngenuiTEA. The white does stain quite readily, though. I have to run mine through the dishwasher or bleach it out at least once a week. One good thing about the IngenuiTEA is that you can see the leaves while they are steeping.
