The new look, which begs for tweaking
With the new look of this web site, the font is so big that less information is on the page. The message titles are mostly double spaced, the navigation drop down list has partial forum names, and more scrolling is required to scroll through the message listing in each forum.

I see potential!!!
I might suggest a new name for the topic. Something of a more constructive and positive nature.
Keep in mind, this is a work in progress. It might be a good idea to post "constructive criticism" in this topic as well as suggestions.
Last night was phase 1 I am sure. Everything had to be migrated over from the old format to this format.
I see a lot of potential already, but there are certainly visible glitches as well.

There is a search icon covering the Instant Messenger banner
Advanced search is missing

Re: Don't like the new look
Online members were showing earlier this morning, but there was glitch.
It was showing the carrier and some other info.
Oh I see smilies are back!

(Testing the edit!!!)

Re: Don't like the new look
The pagination (navigation to later pages) is only shown at the bottom, no longer at top and bottom.

Re: Don't like the new look
Obviously the new post icons on the home page to the left next to forums are reversed. They show new posts when there are none, and show no new posts when there are.

I don't mind it
It's kinda fun!
I like the look itself. The only issue I have is having to scroll to see the entirety of large photos, but I can deal with that. A few quirks that I'm sure will be worked out eventually.

Observations
The righthand 20% or so of existing photos seems to be cut off.
The good Search button that used to be next to the Members button is now gone.
The View Your Posts button might be handy sometime, but all it shows you is a list of threads (like "Show off Your Pots and Cups"!) in which you have posted something, not the actual posts.
The new "skin" seems to me clumsy and detracts from the text of the posts. I guess the "business" font sizes are too big and the orange border is too dark and too wide.
In Firefox, I have to scroll up in the post preview function to be able to see the top of my preview.
The new "Upload attachment" function should be helpful for the smell-o-vision and taste-o-vision.
On the other hand, my Takumi shincha is turning out pretty well as I head into the sixth infusion.

BBC codes and advanced search
BBC codes are turned on, but no codes listed yet.
You can access the advanced search, but in cock eyed fashion. So, the advanced search is active, but not easy to get to.

Re: Don't like the new look
I agree with the OP and Salsero; while it looks pretty, it is more awkward to read.
Maybe this is in the works, but the RSS feed would be nice to have back. One for each forum would be even better!
Also, is there a key to the new icons somewhere? I'm unfamiliar with these-- not a bad thing, I just need to learn what they mean.

Re: Don't like the new look
Seems like larger posts that have titles merge together and just take up too much room. I would like to see a key somewhere ..maybe I'm just over looking it but all I see is a tooltip when I hover over an icon that says "no new posts" and then another icon (different) that says the same thing.
Edit: figured out the different icon just means I've posted a reply in that section.
Everything else I can get used to.
O i do like the "At least one new post has been made to this topic. You may wish to review your post in light of this." very nice addition.

Re: Don't like the new look
Regarding adavanced search, again. If you click on either of the 2 icons on top left of home page, then you will have an option to "return to advanced search."
Clearly a glitch.

Re: Don't like the new look
Ilya is working on glitches and feedback here. He will hopefully finish most of it in a few days.
Please continue to post glitches and comments, but I would suggest keeping them short. Ilya has a short attention span.

Re: Don't like the new look
Members online list is missing and missed on the homepage.
Also the daily poll is not on the homepage.

Re: The new look, which begs for tweaking
As suggested I changed the topic title. If y'all don't like that one either then I'll change it again tomorrow.
