Greetings TeaChatters and welcome to TeaDay. Please come in and share what is in your cup with us this day.
Yesterday we discussed bad tea habits. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's TeaDay.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. As you reflect back on your TeaDays, do you generally say to yourself, "That was a great TeaDay?" Please share your reflections. Thanks to Mrs. Chip for this one.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Drink what you like and like what you drink!

Most days are great tea days, aren't they? I don't remember ever having a great coffee day.
This is the 13th infusion of this sample from Nada. How much greater can it get.*

*Well, the 25th infusion of a great Dan Cong or the 3rd week of infusions of a long distance run.

Re: Monday TeaDay 7/27/09 TeaDay personal reflections?
I think sometimes, I subconsciously do this. Especially after an epic brewing session, or when I finally brew a tea correctly after a long night of frustration. I think I most recently did this yesterday, when I finally brewed the organic Kabusecha from O-Cha correctly, and "umami" really kicked my taste buds into high gear...
I probably should reflect back on each brewing session more often, and take note of what I could do better next time. Enjoying some organic Uji Sencha from O-Cha. I think I'm beginning to fall in love with Japanese greens.
BTW, That cup looks GORGEOUS
Those fish look very real to me!

If I have really enjoyed the tea in the day, then I suppose I have thought that it was a good day for tea. But I am more likely to reflect on other matters.
I'm trying an anxi oolong from special teas this morning. It seems nice enough...

I would say that it sometimes happens. My standards for a great tea day are ridiculously high these days, so it really takes a special experience to make me think in those terms.
Middle-of-the-road TeaDay so far, with a decent, but slightly overbrewed Sencha to keep me company.

I find as I'm getting better at brewing, and getting more familiar with my teas, that, more often than not it is a good teaday now.

Usually any day with tea in it is a good day, and some are better than others.
A good tea day for me today as I am enjoying some Nilgiri Glendale Handmade in my travel mug. A great start to the week!

I typically don't think of the day as a whole, but each tea separately. My tea drinking is almost non-stop, so by the end of the day I may have had quite a few different teas, though I've been learning more about what I like and do not, so most of my TeaDays are good, I would say, on the whole

Everyone likes the fish! You should taste them after they have been swimming in puerh for a few days. Delicious.
I am trying to squeeze some life out of an overage bao zhong. It does make tea, and the tea is not bad, but the sparkle that made it sing when it was young, that is gone.

Most days, yes. I am rarely disappointed in the quality or variety of tea I am able to enjoy... occasionally just not enough of it.
I have a cannister of blended black teas I mostly use for iced tea. I dump in the remains of black teas I've purchased or traded for, and it never fails to make a delicious iced tea. Today I was craving something black in my hot morning cup, and I brewed up this potpourri... and it is satisfied exactly what I was looking for.

Seriously, where do you buy all your figurines and other teaware? I feel like I see something new in your pictures every daySalsero wrote:Most days are great tea days, aren't they? I don't remember ever having a great coffee day.

Today I had some Li Shan Cha, a high mountain oolong from Taiwan. Very good stuff.

I am enjoying reading the responses from everyone. Of course all our days are GREAT TeaDays!
My TeaDay experiences are somewhat limited compared to a lot of you.
However I can say that I enjoy tremendously every day with TEA!
Most days I feel that I have not taken the time to drink all the tea that I would like too, but many days I get to share every tea with our Mod and those are the best days of my short TeaJourney so far.
This morning we tried a new one, and of course I cannot remember the name, but is was a new one from Rishi ... duh, where is my TeaJournal when I need it? Chip, bail me out pleeeze!
Hope everyone is having a GREAT TeaDay so far, with more and better tea to come!
Sal, I love those fishy cups, we have them too; I love to watch them swimming while drinking my tea.

Generally, yeah, I'm happy with my daily tea experiences. I buy what I like for a reason!
Soon to be in my cup: Supreme Fujian Oolong from BirdPick.
