Those of you who do multiple infusions in a single sitting--do you use a hot water thermos? Or do you reheat the water in the kettle with each infusion?
If you use a thermos, where have you come across a good one? In one tea house that I visited, they had the Chinese thermoses--the ones that are usually brightly colored with flowers on the outside (and have a glass interior, I believe) and use a stopper made of cloth and metal. That seemed to work pretty well, but I've had difficulty finding one online. Basically I'm looking for a good glass-lined thermos that keeps the water as hot as possible...if you know of one, let me know!

Re: Hot Water Thermos
I use an electric kettle. Boil the water, and if I am enjoying greens, I can get 4-5 steeps without reheating as long as I am in a semi continuous mode, which I usually am with greens anyway.
I may have to reheat for some other teas.
But the electric kettles seem to keep water pretty hot since the heating element stays hot for a bit.

I use thermos. I would suggest to save your money and buy those made by Thermos or Zojirushi. We have a good local brand: Alfi, Emsa, etc but not available in US.
The bottles or jugs made by those companies are usually good. Based on 8 hours operating time: 100°C water will become 75-76°C after 8 hours. Note the initial decrease is higher, might be 5-7°C/h right after filling the boiling water in it. But my tea session is only 30min, so it is fine.

I second a Zojirushi thermos. I have one that I've used daily for over a year and it keeps the tea to where it will actually still scald my mouth after sitting in the thermos for 8 to 10 hours. It's stainless steel and doesn't make the tea taste funny at all.
