Good TeaDay one and all and welcome to TeaDay. Please do drop in and share what is in your cup today.
Yesterday we discussed whether a visitor to your home could detect whether you are a TeaNut. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. As I was cleaning up teaware this evening, "Bear" happened to casually walk across my TeaTray 4 times in less than 5 minutes. I wondered, do you have a pet that invades your TeaSpace? Please share.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

No pets and little understanding of the desire to bring other species into the house.
Darjeeling by Lochan, tasting set by Lupicia, inspiration by Pentox, advice incontrovertible. Mmmm, maybe a pet camel to join me in my tea taking.

Re: Tuesday TeaDay 8/18/09 TeaTime pet invasions?
Although I am petless, I dream of owning a cat someday.
I remember a friend brought one over, and she (the cat that is) enjoyed the tea I brewed. She licked it straight out of my tea cup, so I decided to pour some into her water bowl.

We have two gerbils, Treacle and Ebony. I very much enjoy when they come out and say hello while I'm drinking tea at the dining table!

Started the day with Yame sencha from Umami-Chaya.

Hm, technically no pets invading my tea space, but sometimes the dogs of my downstairs neighbor will bark. A lot. Usually when their masters are all gone and they left them home. Oh well.
Still going with my single bush oolong sample today. I think it's beginning to wane finally, but it certainly was a very enjoyable ride.

I do not have a pet and it bothers me. There are few things I love more than cats, but I am allergic to them
Making some Gyokuro Tsuru-Jiru-Shi now. Just opened my second bag of it after having a bit of an oolong period after the first bag.
-edit-
and my post counter is still not working

I'm petless at present, so experience no interference by curious creatures.

Your second bag of the Tsuru? How was the first, if you also had the Kame, was Tsuru worth the added expense?
Post counter will be worked on later this week. I passed on a LONG list of problems with the new forum to Ilya. This was high on the list. Everyone's posts are here, once the glitch is fixed all the existing posts should tally for all members.

You really should get one bag before all of them go to Europe.Chip wrote: Your second bag of the Tsuru? How was the first, if you also had the Kame, was Tsuru worth the added expense?

(I wanted to post the photo, but I have not been able to post photos for some time now - I get an error message. So, instead, here is the URL where you can see her photo!)
This is Tinkerbell. She is funny, playful, sweet, cuddly and curious. This last bit of her nature means that she loves sniffing at everything - especially if it is something a human member of her pack is using. She has thusly learned that Scotch makes her sneeze and that she does not care for hot tea (although sweet ice tea is quite yummy). She has also been known to eat dry leaf - TKY being her leaf of choice when she is in such a mood.
She is also very, very social and does not like to be left out of pack activities. So, I have often had to prepare and drink my tea with her in my lap. But, she has not as of yet jumped up onto the table to be in the middle of it all.

Is the "search" function problem (no results from ancient posts) also on the list?Chip wrote: Post counter will be worked on later this week. I passed on a LONG list of problems with the new forum to Ilya. This was high on the list.
