Need a big arse vaccum flask

Hey guys, my first of what I hope will be many posts here.

I just joined an MFA (master in fine arts) program in creative writing, and I have to be up on campus almost all day. And to produce quite a bit of writing to boot!

Now normally writing is supported by a wide array of teapots, cozys, my favorite teacup etc... We all know the ritual, and how it helps concentrate the mind a bit.

Up on campus I can't even get decent hot water. So anyone know of somwhere they make a decent LARGE vacuum flask?

Because if I'm going to be up on campus all day, and writing, I frankly NEED and REQUIRE at least 12 cups of Margaret's Hope, Temi Estate, or some other equivalent darjeeling/sikkim, or I might just go insane.

Any thoughts as to how I can get through the day?

Take two smaller flasks, which might help in keeping water hotter for a longer period of time. As you empty a flask it cools.

Any way you could brew all that tea at home and then put it into your big flask when you find one?

Would you consider a different approach?

Cold brew your Darjeelings. You can prepare a large glass waterjug with infuser teapot overnight in the frig, then transfer it to a large insulated cold drinks thermos for dispensing during the day.

I guess I'd carry just hot water in my thermos and make tea a cup at a time.
Or invest in one of those in-cup heat coil water heaters.
Where there is a will there is a way.

Check out an asian grocery or two, my 2 liter flasks with the silly quotes on them were around 11$.

How big do you need? What measure is 12 cups in volume, how many ounces or ml per cup?

How big are you willing to lug around?

How many hours do you need it to keep the same/about same temperature?

^ you won't lose as much heat from opening the top, if you use this model with pump action.

2.7 qt = 2.55l = 86oz.

Thermos only makes claim of keeping it hot for 6hrs...but with larger volumes of liquids, probably get more.

^ really big arse, in volume, size, and weight; suppose you could lug it around in a backpack, lol. You'll get a serious workout with that one
