All Japanese, from the chadougu used at tea ceremony class, to the kyuusu and meoto-yunomi that I used to serve sencha to a friend afterwards :)

(And Olivier... I like your five yunomi. Very lively and cheerful!)

Huh, a surprise to me, I am the first voter of 5 to vote for Chinese teaware. Yixing pots and gaiwans, mine come from China. I only have one or two Japanese pieces, and nothing beyond that. That probably sounds frighteningly sparse for some people! :D

Nothing tea this morning. I'm going to brew up something this afternoon, probably either an oolong or some pu'erh. I also need to start the next round of kombucha.......

Teaware from the USA. I only have two small pots from anywhere else, and since they hold so little I only use them when doing tea just for me, which doesn't happen very often.

Have been drinking some very good Ceylon Sun from TeaSmith lately, mmm.

Like what, there is no such thing as European teaware??? Heh.

Having tippy Assam served in ENGLISH fine porcelain pot and teacup this morning for a proper breakfast tea.

USA-made tea cup at the moment, though I may branch out to either Japan or China later today if the mood strikes. I am currently enjoying some Chestnut tea from Adagio that I have been hording since last winter in one of my favorite cups, the red one in my avatar made by Bill at Splitfire Pottery. The tea is still tasty after sitting in my drawer for many months, but needs just a touch of honey to perk it up.

Voted "other". Seemed to fit. This morning as I rushed out to the studio (lots to do before it snows here) it was a cup of very basic Yamamoto teabag sencha (OK....I admit it) in a youhen mug. The mug was made by me, but made in Japan this summer. Because the mug was made by me, does that make it American? Because it was made in Japan out of Japanese clay and fired with Japanese red pine, does that make it Japanese? Is the combination of the two "Japanese-American". Who the heck knows! "OTHER"

best,

.............john

I just used my english porcelain teapot, going to use my japanese kyusu later for some sencha. I like my engrish pot, can make anything in it so simple...weeeeeeee!

Having a cup of puttabong once again(lots of sugarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!) !! I might need to get a larger teapot, everybody keeps wanting tea around here now, can hardly make two full cups at a time hahahahaha! Back to studying about some landforms

Oops, missed that one. Unfortunately with the new format I cannot add options w/o clearing all the votes. So, I guess ENGLISH goes into OTHER today.

Japanese all the way so far, including this Deishi Shibuya Biwa Wan And a Momiji (Japanese Maple) motif Kyusu.

I used my PersonaliTea this morning - I don't know where it's from but is kind of English in style?

Three Brothers in my Wal-Mart mug this morning. My favorite paint-your-own-pottery mug got cracked in the dishwasher the other day.

So far today Chinese tea (Black Spiral from Tao of Tea) in American Teaware (Longaberger...these have been our everyday dishes for 20+ years).

Later I think I must use my no-longer-leaky Biwa-Yuu Wan (Japanese). It is needing to be used today!

Happy Day, All,
Dreamer

Great photo again Geek! Thanks for sharing your talent and teaware with us.

Dreamer, glad to hear your leaker is no longer leaking!

Next up, went predominantly American with a ShyRabbit Chawan along with Matcha from Zencha. The color contrast is stunning. SweeTea was there along with Wulong, TEAh and Fuji.

I'm using my tetsubin and Hagiware cup. :D Tea today is a standard favorite: chocolate flavored tea.
