water thermometer

What kind of thermometer do you use to measure water temp and where can you buy them? Thanks

check ebay. small digital ones sell for as low as $6.

I use one from walmart. Its a candy making thermometer designed for high temps and is like $2.

Definitely go with a digital thermometer. They react the fastest.
I used a glass candy thermometer when I was getting started and it took a long time to read. Also they break.
And the mechanical ones with the screw adjustment are totally inaccurate.
