I don't think so, but then we are definitely not feeling much of a change yet. With global warming, October is becoming increasingly warmer. Another busy day ahead, I hope I can manage to get in more tea today.

Yes
Dan Cong and Anxi, to the back of the shelf, and Wuyi all seemed to have moved to the front.

I've started drinking a bit of red tea and pu. I expect the sencha to tail off a bit as the weather cools, but I drink yancha all year round.

It is indeed getting colder and darker, and the first snow is still just about melting on the ground. But it seems I still stick to the old favorites.
Sencha is today's old favorite.

Not really. About 95% of my tea chioce is green of one sort or another. That does not seem to change. And within the greens... the specific ones does not seem to change. At least that I notice.
I don't really see a pattern based upon the weather.

We have already had the first snow where I am, although it did not stay. Winter is here but my tea pattern hasn't changed much. Sencha in the morning and oolong or black tea in the evening. Of course, in the hot weather I'm more likely to have iced sencha and completely unlikely to have any iced tea now. If I want iced tea this time of year I can take my hot cup of tea onto the back porch and wait for 10 minutes - voila! - iced tea.
This morning it's hot "Hikozo" sencha.

I don't really associate different teas with different seasons so no changes for me

Yes big changes.
This is when I start drinking black tea. I love them in this season, and almost never drink them in other seasons. And now almost all the oolongs I drink are darker roasts.

Some of my preferences change as it gets cooler. When the holidays are coming up, I like to have Cinnamon tea and Chai more often.

Similarly, since I jumped head first into Japanese greens, my tastes vary little do to the cooler weather ... however I do drink more Gyokuro. This however is not due to temp. It is simply a seasonal adjustment as Gyo has now aged 6 months, it is prime! Sencha on the other hand is slightly less of a priority.JBaymore wrote:Not really. Not really. If anything, I just drink the same things more often.
