Wow, he did a great job! I like how I dont have to ask him for quotes now since we have the cart feature and it tells you the shipping right below that! Sweet!

I guess this also explains strange updates of old items and such over the last few days, for those who checked their site for updated merchandise. When I saw late last night he only had a few items on his Ebay store (this is before I knew he had a new storefront), I was like "oh no! who's going to fulfill my next order?!?!"

The website has been launched... we are still working out some small issues so if you do decide to give the site a try that would be great... email me with any issues you encounter. We will be offering freebies all-around on your first order!
The eBay store is NOT down... we were forced by eBay to re-list tons of listings because insurance is no longer optional (it is required by the seller) and handling time should be stated... about 85% of our listings did not have this.... once we updated silly old ebay took about 14 hours to display the new listings in our store. Anyways,... in summary:
1. new site! cheaper prices!
2. ebay store still there...

A much more "professional" site than where I am shopping from where it says "email for prices and shipping quote" with no actual info.
Ebay fees are always lousy for the sellers, having sold on ebay before...

What is with "Buy 7 cakes and get the 8th FREE! Offer only good for eBay purchase (8 cakes shipped via SAL would be $29.00)." Appearing on your new site? Was that just because you copied the descriptions or is that a new policy?

Hi... with the already really low pricing... the ""Buy 7, get the 8th free" does not apply. For certain products we will institute something akin to that soon, a kind of quantity discount.
The mention of "Buy 7, get the 8th free" was brought over from eBay when we imported the descriptions. The only way I could convince myself to get the site done was based on importing items and prices from eBay. Writing new descriptions and linking pictures for 950 products by hand was just too terrifying!
We also instituted a loyalty program which gives you $0.30 for every $5.00 spent. This might not seem like alot but it turns into an additional 6% discount. Making the products on the site 16% cheaper than eBay.
We also have new EMS pricing for most countries... in most cases this makes EMS only slightly more than SAL... EMS is much much faster!
Anyways.... blah blah blah! Thanks for listening!

I just tried Scott's new Web Store. First thing to do was register, name, password and shipping address. Now I never have to do that again.
Its kinda like Amazon.com when you buy something it shows up in a window at the top right. And keeps a running total of cakes, prices, shipping and your total cost. When you check out just hit Checkout then the PayPal button. and you've bought it.
