Newbie to Tea

by mytea4life » Nov 23rd, '09, 02:16

I've always liked Green Tea, but had not clue until I found Adagio how many different varieties of Green Tea there were. I always thought it was just one Green tea, one Black tea, one White tea. Boy, was I naive!

I love the varieties of teas and I have started out with the "ingenuiTEA teapot and green" tea samples. I love it, especially for the price, and can't wait to get into all the wonderful tea selections.

What are some good recommendations for starting out? I would like to get into the Rooibos and always love Herbal flavors, but also want the health benefits of real tea.

I'm not a fan of black teas, except for making Chai, but would like any tea suggestions for a newbie (besides what's already been mentioned in the Adagio "guide to tea" book.

Thanks! I'm excited (especially now that it's winter) to get more involved in the tea world!
