Ok, so TWICE I've tried to go for annual blood work and TWICE I've failed. It's the fasting part that is the problem. The first time, woke up groggily and make my tea and toast like an automaton - eating and wrecking the fast before realizing I had the appointment. Rescheduled....
Then today, I woke up saw the note I put out for myself, cleverly attached to the tea kettle and DID NOT eat or have tea. Got all the way down to the office/lab place and realized I forgot the paperwork.

No tea = no brain.
Let's see how it goes Friday!

Had to share with tea people. Third time is a charm, they say...

Me too! If I don't do tea 'n toast in the morning, I always leave at least one thing at home. Books, notes, student essays, a shirt...it's frightening.

Mary!!! Hiya sweetie!
The Dr's office personnel commented on how close to the wire my blood work results came back, so I had to tell them the story.

They were very amused.
Haven't forgotten a shirt yet tho....
